Frequently Asked Questions
Feel free to send an email or call us if you don't see the answer here.

Q: Do you accept animal donations?
A: It depends on the animal. If you call us, we can discuss whether
or not we can accommodate. We have taken in most of the animals you
see as a form of rescue and rehabilitation, or they have become so
healthy and happy that they breed and have happy babies!
Q: Can I adopt an animal and take it
home with me?
A: Sometimes you can, if the former owner has given a release and
our team of veterinarians and experts believe that the animal can be
happy and healthy in your care. Some of our animals are not suited
to life in the home of a human, which is why they are here in the
first place. Others may be in a treatment program that you may not
recognize, so the best thing to do is ask one of our staff.
Q: What kind of donations do you accept?
A: We appreciate monetary donations, your time and effort, bird
perches and cages, feed items, building materials, or anything else
that we can use to help us support happy and healthy animals. Before
you bring food or items, please call and talk to our staff to be
sure we can accept it and that we are here and ready when you
arrive.
